Plagiarism Policy
- Submitted articles must be completely original works.
- If the work and/or words of others are used, ensure that they are properly cited.
- Quoting someone else's article as your own should be avoided.
- Do not copy or paraphrase important parts of someone else's article without attribution.
- Any form of plagiarism constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.
- In case of plagiarism in the article, the author or authors are responsible.
- The editorial team of Hydrobiological Research will check for plagiarism in all submitted articles prior to publication. If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process, the author will be instructed to rewrite the manuscript. Every submission will be scanned by “iThenticate” to prevent plagiarism. If any manuscript is 30% plagiarized, the article will be rejected and the author will be notified. We strongly recommend that authors check the paper’s content before submitting it for publication. Plagiarism can also be checked by using free online software.
